Can I be a pain in the ass and ask how you guys on the UK/European side of the pond sized on the trench boots. I am a 9uk or 43eu and have long laboured under the illusion that in terms of UK to US you generally size up one. I checked with Oak Street who told me that a UK 9 is a US 9.5 and a EU 43 was a US 9.
I'm a tad confused as I have me peepers set on a pair of the roughout trench boots and really don't want to feck up on the sizing. Anyone with the same dimensions or similar out there who can give me the benefit of their experience. I think a US9.5 should do the trick but as these will be my first pair of proper boots I don't want to mess up. Am a size 9uk in Converse and 43eu in Camper shoes if that's any help.
Have read through the thread to see about sizing advice but I asking straight up as enlightenment still escapes me.

Mate, to be honest, I'm going to check into a shoe store and get my feet measured by a brannock device. Might slip em a fiver in good health for it. That's what OSBM's say anyway for there Elston last.
Btw, the rough outs looks sick! Love the Dainite sole on em. With just leather sole on other brands they have a tendency to slip when not wanted. Not cool. Look great, but not functional.

Yeah, that's what I did in the end and put my order in. They'll be the first pair of artisan boots I own so looking forward to seeing what's in store. Apparently they're ready to ship now which is just under a week since I ordered them. Wasn't expecting the order to be filled so quickly.
Anyway, soon as I get them I'll post a pic! Bring on the rough outs…!

Here are my OSB Natural Rough-outs which arrived on Monday. Safe to say these beauties will be getting plenty of wear! Only one picture for upload - laptop shat itself for the other three…..

Ohighyo, they look sweet too mate. They darken nicely. It's natural CXL isn't it?
