      Amazing. Beard looks good too!

I didn't even notice the beard.  I just thought it was a case of "can't be bothered shaving this weekend."

It was a case of 'can't be bothered shaving for a week' :).

Got one of these j100's about a month ago. Been too hot here in the Bay Area to wear it. I halfto admit the jacket is so damn shinny. Is there a way to get some of the shine off of it?

congrats, just wear it whenever you can man 🙂 @eyeq8402 this beauty needs weartime to fully break in and shape to your body over the next few years. the shine, which is usual in this specific leather, will dissappear over time.

ah and please post some pics if you can.

                Cheers,
                David

yeah, how dare you not post pictures yet…

I have a tip for getting the shine off: don't worry about it or try anything. I'm sure that it'll go away as you wear it... I'm surprised because I think its got the perfect amount of shine. Doing anything to "fix" it will probably harm the jacket and you'll regret it!

RMC Lot.002 washed version so I need not do anything. Hehe.
Wore it for the first time despite the hot and humid weather today. Not too bad actually (14.75oz).
Just need to hem one-fold shorter. Happy so far.

                    Wore with IHB-05

@ Flash Thanks. I had the chance to try out a few different styles and liked this one the best. Moreover I was also curious about the focus on the fading process of this denim that they mentioned, 'iro-ochi'.

Love my RMC peacoat but don't get to wear it that often. It was freezing today at home so it was great to be able to give it some love.

Pretty sure those pictures got posted somewhere else (leather jacket thread?) but even if unnatural it gives you an idea of what's possible with that leather which I think is cool.
I like where the edges of the jacket along the zipper have aged, but not so much the really crazy "combs".

I'm not sure if combs will ever come through naturally, honestly. Especially with casual wear.

Luckily for you though, the places where the tea core is most prominent are the edges of the jacket, near the zips, and the seams at the elbows! Mine will take forever to evo which I like. I don't want an expensive thing like this self destructing so quick!
