Yesterday I phoned to cancel my old mobile phone contract and for no apparent reason out of nowhere I lost my cool with the advisor…...... When advising me that if I could not answer all my security questions she could not cancel my contract....I suddenly shouted down the phone, 'LISTEN HERE LADY, YOU EITHER CANCEL THE CONTRACT OR I CANCEL THE DIRECT DEBIT!' :-\

On the mobile phone front, I was cold called by a company wanting to upgrade my phone and contract, as they were due to expire in a few months. I said, very politely, that I didn't make those kinds of decisions over the phone unsolicited, but preferred to do them online or in person. He asked why, in a strangely annoyed tone, so I replied that it's just how I do things. He then said, and I quote, "maybe you should think about joining the 21st century". Things went downhill after that in a big way…

Yeah, welcome to Ottawa. Crazy storm, the city needs some snow. I remember it was -27 C but no snow earlier this month. Drive safe.

Yea I hear it has been mild. It hasn't been to big of an adjustment, but I have to say I am not a big fan of rain freezing the moment it hits my windshield. I now know why they sell -60 windshield washer fluid.

you know once paper grocery bags with handles were invented the grocery bag without handles should have gone away like cars without seat belts or disposable needles. the handles are a quantum leap forward. add a nickel to the cost of my bread I don't care dammit

Thank god there's still some retailers with the same degree of customer service as IHUK.
Think they'll come off in a cold wash? I wear it practically everyday and as it is covered with down, I don't feel like taking two hours to remove each individual piece.
