Last summer Green Man Brewery in Asheville had some homemade malt liquor on tap….it was outstanding. Light and crisp with a fruity finish that just went perfect with the weather. Just look at those delicate tufts of lacing just barely clinging on..... No idea what the name was as I proceeded to get quite drunk on it.

I always like to keep a little of this french broad kolsch around during the summer to get me through my hausaufgarbage…Great kolsch (really under explored style if you ask me) and its like $3.50 for a 750ml bottle.

The Chardonnay is the perfect follow up to the sour beer that is the Tap X... It's like a perfectly balanced Chablis Premier Cru, lotsa mineral in the taste and a sour-y touch that is masked by having had the Tap X beforehand, stressing out the vanilla flavours instead...

I'll never forget that insane blend of tobacco, whiskey, and chocolate.

That AVENTINUS BARRIQUE was sick… Starts of like a sour old Flemish beer, then develops this complex, soft, almost sweet and long aftertaste...

Aventinus is my GF's favorite beer. There's a bar a few blocks away that has it on tap. Which is great/cheap for me since it takes less than 2 of them to get her wasted!

The Faro, on the far right is really sweet, almost like drinking soda.  Barely tastes like beer.  I do like it, just to be clear.  The Rodenbach Grand Cru is a nice somewhat sour red.  It's quite good.

Hmmm, I may have that one tonight.
