This was fantastic.

According to the calender it’s not stout season but weather wise it certainly is. I picked up a couple of BA’ed To Øl Goliaths recently to save for next winter but at this rate they may get opened a lot sooner.

Btw: will look into trying to obtain that Amager... The hideousness of their artwork is on par with Clown Shoes though...

It is grim. All of it is actually, on every damn bottle. It’s been so uniformally bad over the last few years it’s started working in their favour as I can spot a bottle of Amager on a crowded shelf from 20 metres.

Standard practice on Brew Dog Abstrakt releases. Buy two, cellar one, drink one. This is relatively low ABV for these releases at 12%. Noticeably fresh.

Been hearing good things about Verdant, so I thought I'd try one. (Nothing to do with fact I currently have no beer in the fridge).

Very nice, refreshing. Will certainly try a few more based on this one.

Relatively straightforward actually. The last few years have been a mixed bag, last years being shite. It’s a slightly bitter porter which the coffee probably enhances, while the brown sugar gives it some some body. After the first sip I thought it was dull, but by the I was enjoying it a lot. It’ll be interesting to see what happens in a year or two.

I used a sommelier’s bottle opener with the attachment for removing foil from wine bottles. Worked a treat.

I probably oversold it a bit. It’s vaguely interesting more that intriguing [emoji1]
