I bought the Loden maine guide boots last fall
but returned them cause the green was much less subtle than I had expected/hoped
it's a unique look and I couldn't pull it off
and not very versatile
but at that price maybe worth it for someone

Go with 11.5 el! Leather will be a bit tougher (read less stretchy) than your OSB but that is the right size imo.

I'm a US 12 in Air Maxes and 11.5 in New Balance and Adidas - what size should I go for in the softer chukkas?

ah yes
certainly those pics are more accurate in terms of the loden color
that brown I think works nice in toning things down just a little
