wow, this is pretty epic stuff.  sorry everyone didn't get what they were after. after all the talk about price and just a small amount of attention to detail being the line between Viberg & White's it seems that line has been erased with this sample sale. if you are the right size & patient enough you can score a great pair of boots.

keeping an eye out to see what everyone scored & will expect a bunch of sales threads to open up with folks buying the wrong size & all that.

I'm also trying to hold off as the sale lasts a whole month, let the $$$ be absorbed early on and get something later when less people with $$$$. That said, would still appreciate an answer on the above

Depends on the fit of your 03s … But you could always run them to a cobbler and have then stretched a half size is not a huge difference... As far as thoughts on the actual boot, I've yet to see one I don't like!!!!!!

sorry can not see the image.  my bobcat's have a round toe & very generous fit. as tmt asked how is the fit of your 03s?

if generous i think a half size down wouldn't be bad, but then again i can not see the image & just wanted to respond cause snowy is that dude

actually sat this out finn, i am fortunate enough to actually have too many pairs of boots at the moment.  once i sell/donate a few pairs to make space i might rethink it

personally i wouldn´t size down, not even a half size on the 2030 last. my general rule of thumb is tts or 0.5 down for the "bigger" lasts like 2040, 160, 310 and tts or 0.5 up for the "smaller" lasts like 110 and 2030…"bigger" and "smaller" talking about the room in toebox o/course!

Simon if you are still waiting to hear back, i would check the list again to see if the ones you were interested in have been sold.  They won't respond if so and I also believe they have already sent out all the invoices so far for this round.

DEPENDING ON the model ordered but I would go with Finn's advice. For me personally, with scout and service boots I can even fit 8-9 with proper socks but will stay tts with any vibergs pull-on or engineer. What size are you snowy?

8 1/2 UK in the scouts that are a good/great fit (little room with thin socks, perfect with thick)..

imo 1/2 size down won't hurt if you're eyeing the 1950 service. Good luck buddy.

Thanks Friday, wrote, and cancelled, then re-wrote, and cancelled the order e-mail. Going to gamble and wait and see what next week brings :). I think an 8 will work, even following Finn's advice too (I think 8 is my TTS…will just have to purchase and find out )
