Enjoyed the B01s all day... Had so much heads turning in the shopping streets... SO MUCH FECKING CRAP OUT THERE... I couldn't believe a 10-11 oz 'selvedge' G-Star was priced ad 200 €... I had a laugh...

youre right with this......G-Star,Diesel ect......feels like a pyjama and quality of this stuff is nightmarish!

Also felt up some Red Wings - lightweight and didn't really seem like they were sturdy compared to my Grensons… Really don't understand the appeal and rep they have... :-\
Notice how my SEXIH07bks are no longer hanging on the rack… My dad is now wearing them... Sticking to my plan to have only 2 pairs in rotation for 2k11...

I agree. They are very different though, the Red Wings are basically work boots, where as ready to wear Grensons are a volume production version of a bespoke gentleman's shoe. Also, on average Grenson's are 50% -100% more than Red Wings, and i kind of feel Red wings are a little over priced?
-
Grensons are cheaper than Red Wings, lad… Also: you should check some of the boots they have...

170 quid… Working in style!..
Edit: I think I will pull the trigger on those today btw... Dàmn they look good...

I'll check with them where those were produced - not buying if it is indeed India…

Grenson shoes are no longer made in England. The got rid of the "Rose" and "Masterpiece" collections, which were still made in England. Now, they're mostly made in India. Tom Little bought the company in 2010.Who knows, he may bring back a few of the English made models.
