Yes with Safari, also i had this problem where i would be thrown off the page being redirected to the forum index with about half the threads i tried to open.

Never had that problem, or the one with the PMs.  I've always used Android, so maybe it's only an Apple issue?

If I am not wrong for my blackberry, it doesn't show whether there is any unread post in the thread. I need to go through every thread last post to find out myself whether have i seen the thread yet.

If you click the right arrow, you should come to the last unread post now, I just changed it.

To see list of unread posts or updated topics you can use the top right menu:
