BONCOURA 15TH ANNIVERSARY NATURAL INDIGO DENIM & WIDE LEG JEANS
BONCOURA NATURAL INDIGO DENIM ALERT
The BONCOURA 43XX WWⅡ Denim Natural Indigo Dye is a completely reimagined WWII model created to mark the brand’s 15th anniversary, reconstructed from the ground up rather than carried over from the 10th anniversary version. It uses 15oz BONCOURA Ikemen denim, woven on vintage shuttle looms and rope dyed exclusively with 100% natural indigo to achieve depth, vibrancy, and long-term aging character that only reveals itself through wear. Unlike skein-dyed natural indigo, BONCOURA committed to rope dyeing to preserve a white yarn core, allowing strong contrast and defined fades over time. The silhouette is slightly wider with a mid to high rise and straight leg.
Period-correct details include deliberately omitted coin pocket rivets, newly designed iron donut buttons, and intentionally irregular back pockets that reflect the realities of mass production during the era. Yellow cotton stitching, military herringbone pocket bags, and a specially tanned deerskin patch reinforce the historical foundation while remaining unmistakably BONCOURA.
We've also received a fresh production run of Boncoura's "34" wide leg jean, made of their famed 15oz Ikemen denim, produced exclusively for Self Edge. Both of these jeans can be found at all stores and online.

RIGARDS YEAR 2 - ARTISANAL HAND-MADE EYEWEAR
Our second season of Rigards eyewear has landed at all stores. We have three new frames, all fully hand-made and finished out of titanium.
Rigards is an independent eyewear line known for its artisanal approach and unconventional materials. Founded by Ti Kwa, the brand merges avant-garde aesthetics with traditional craftsmanship. Each pair of Rigards glasses is handmade, using uncommon materials like copper, horn, and wood. All Rigards eyewear is handmade in Hong Kong in their own studio, located in Sheung Wan. They are from what I know the only full fledged eyewear line in the world making their own frames in-house in a studio which only makes frames for them. Now at all stores.

NEW ARRIVALS - STEVENSON OVERALL CO.
We've received a new delivery this week at all stores from Stevenson Overall.
We have the Encinitas jean, which is their best selling straight leg fit, in both unsanforized (but rinsed) indigo and black denim styles and the slim tapered Big Sur jean in a crispy indigo denim.
Their Dual-Comfort tank tops sold so well for us last year we had them produce a fresh batch for us; these are available again in olive and natural.Lastly we've received their Tanguis cotton boxer briefs in four colors including a new navy version.

POTEN JAPANESE MADE BASEBALL CAPS - SPRING COLLECTION
Poten’s new spring collection is here!
This season we see Poten doing their caps in a new vintage duck fabric in navy and white, a soft vintage nylon, and a “90’s denim” in black. These hats are crazy nice, nicer than any other straight ahead baseball cap we've ever seen.
The caps have zero exterior branding except for the stitches which you can see from the top of the crown from the interior branding tags being sewn into the center of the crown. The cap has a medium height crown and the brim has a medium length to it with 19 concentric stitches which feel and look pretty cool in person. If you're into baseball caps, you'll love what Poten is doing. ⠀

NEW RICK OWENS MADE IN JAPAN COLLECTION
A new Rick Owens jean fit has arrived. The STROBE is Rick’s newest wide leg fit, available in two new fabrics. We have one made in Japan out of a 12oz selvedge black/black denim woven in Okayama on vintage Sakamoto looms and another made of a 13oz duck canvas woven.
Rick Owens’ famed GETH jean is back and exclusively made for Self Edge. It’s got a long rise, a super wide leg, and is made of a Rick Owens developed 16oz black/black Japanese selvedge denim which has a sulfur dyed warp and reactive dyed weft for maximum fading character. This was a instacop for many of our staff members across our six stores, the fit is just so fucking perfect.

SAMURAI SPRING COLLECTION
The Samurai “GESCOM” 13oz Herringbone Twill shirt is here in two colors, this is one of our favorite Samurai shirts of all time. This long-sleeved shirt takes cues from vintage military coveralls and features an original 13oz herringbone denim fabric, woven from 100% cotton and garment washed for a soft, broken-in feel.
The “User18081971” Elemental flannel is also now at all stores, made in the Niigata Prefecture of Japan. Flannel fabrics from this region of Japan are known for their thickness, softness, and textured hand, achieved through the use of heavy yarns, yarn-dyeing, and specialized weaving techniques.
Samurai’s medium weight blank tees which come in a 2-pack are now available in a reworked RENEWED EDITION. With this new version the sleeves are slightly shorter and the body is slightly longer, and the fabric is just a bit heavier in weight and made of recycled cotton.
The S2000HX jean is Samurai's newest iteration of their wide leg fit with a medium rise. These are made of their custom 15oz "Otokogi" denim made of a 100% Texas cotton fiber with tightly twisted slub yarns for an amazing texture and a unique aging potential.

THE SUGAR CANE OKINAWA JEAN, DENIM JACKETS, & MORE
Sugar Cane’s mixed fiber Okinawa straight leg jean is finally back in stock. The mill producing this denim had some issues running the fabric last year so no retailer had this model in stock for well over a year. They’re finally back, but Sugar Cane has stated going forward they will not be available year round and will only be produced once every one to two years. This is an iconic jean which we've been carrying for nearly 20 years, and can be considered Sugar Cane's flagship model.
We've always loved Sugar Cane's version of the classic 1950's style Type II denim jacket. They've gotten the denim feel right, the stitching is perfect, the iron buttons are classically reproduced, and the deer skin patch ages just as well as the denim itself. We’ve just received a fresh run of these at all of our stores and the new run has been lightly rinsed to get rid of most of the shrinkage in this jacket due to the unsanforized denim.
We've also received the Sugar Cane 8oz Denim Western Shirt, a well made snap buttoned shirt made of a super dark indigo 8oz denim that'll fade with regular wear and washing over time.
Lastly we've received a fresh run of both their 2014 slim tapered and 2009 slim straight jeans in a summer weight 12oz indigo selvedge denim.

THE VIRIDI-ANNE SUMMER COLLECTION
The new summer collection from The Viridi-anne has landed at our six stores. We have new cotton/linen cropped pants, a very nice tonal embroidered shirt, a cotton and lyocell short sleeve shirt, and a Supima cotton henley tee.
The Viridi-anne was started in Tokyo, Japan by Tomoaki Okaniwa in 2001; Okaniwa graduated from Tokyo Zoukei University, Department of Fine arts, majoring in Painting. Moving from the canvas to a desire for expression through garments, he’s been working alongside Daisuke Nishida of Devoa since 2005 with both of them leading the Japanese fashion scene for this style of garments and fabric development.

IRON HEART BSP JEANS & NEW SPRING COLLECTION
Iron Heart BSPIH25 jeans are finally here. We have 633 straight tapered and 301 slim tapered fits, both available in a Self Edge exclusive 19oz denim. With this 19oz denim we looked at all the denim styles ever created by Iron Heart and tried to produce something which encapsulated a little bit from each denim they've produced, from their 14oz all the way up to their 25oz denim. The denim was woven at Japan’s famed Kaihara Mills, which is a first for Iron Heart, and the jean is finished with lined back pockets, hidden fly and coin pocket selvedge details, a special charcoal “W” stitch on the back pocket, tonal navy arcuates, and much more which you can read about on the product pages of our site.
We've also received new production runs of two different Self Edge exclusive Himeji horsehide jackets, 633 straight tapered jeans in their black SBG denim, indigo chambray shirts, and black denim jackets and work shirts.

We have four new models of Rick Owens footwear as part of their newly released summer collection.
We have Vintage Sneaks in black and milk 13oz denim, Ramones in 13oz overdyed denim, and Ramones in a very heavy natural slub canvas. Rick Owens' footwear is built more like a traditional leather shoe with a stitch-down sole as opposed to a disposable pair of sneakers. Over time if the sole or upper needs repair they can be repaired by a cobbler. These are now available in limited quantities at our five US stores.

NEFF GOLDSMITH RESTOCK - STRANGE & INTERESTING JEWELRY
We've just received a very large restock of Neff Goldsmith's entire line of sterling silver and gold jewelry along with the new SCALE ring. We absolutely love jewelry and have slowly expanded our jewelry selection at our stores over the past few years. Neff Goldsmith is a jewelry line made by an extremely talented jeweler and master setter by the name of Chris Neff.
Chris' inspirations come from his deep understanding of the heritage of jewelry and vintage silversmithing. All pieces are made in-house at his own foundry out of sterling silver with many pieces having 18k yellow gold accents. His detail and milgrain work is unlike anything we've ever seen and he's got some interesting twists on classic signet rings, band rings, pendants, and necklaces.

SAMURAI COTTON FARM AND OTOKOGI DENIM JEANS & RENEWED EDITION T-SHIRT 2-PACKS
Samurai cotton farm denim jeans are here! Samurai’s new S510HXII jean is built from a rinsed 15.8oz unsanforized (but rinsed) selvedge denim woven on vintage GL3 shuttle looms, giving the fabric a raw, vintage texture with plenty of character. The denim blends Texas cotton warp yarns with Samurai’s own cotton weft which they grow themselves in Osaka, Japan, resulting in a deep indigo shade, uneven nep, and a rugged hand feel that will only get better with wear. Details include custom metal hardware, a button fly, a selvedge coin pocket, Natural x Silver Lamé selvedge ID, jacquard pocket bags, and a goatskin leather patch. The fit has a slightly higher rise with room through the top block and a subtle taper from the knee down.
Samurai’s S0255XX jean is their newest iteration of a slim tapered jean with a medium rise and a tapered leg. These are made of their custom 15oz "Otokogi" denim made of a 100% Texas cotton fiber with tightly twisted slub yarns for an amazing texture and very high unique fading potential.
