          @babyknight:

          I'm late joining this club but finally decided to get a nice watch.  Picked up a pristine used Omega Speedmaster Pro, the sapphire sandwich edition with glass back.  Pic is of a stock brand new one, will try to post fit pics of mine in the future.

          I tried on a 44mm version of theSppedmaster a few years back in Geneva - has anyone else seen one - the extra size really complemented it I felt.

            With the 9300 movement?  Looks great with a larger wrist and hearing good things about the movement!

              I prefer the manual wind in the speedie but the new version with automatic wind and date is not bad at all, beautifully executed watch. If I am going to buy a speedie again I'll stick with the older model though

              Cheers,
              David

                Quite a lot more money though than the standard speedie.

                    ^Nice - love the finish on that movement as well.  Going to have to add a German to my watch lineup one of these days.

                              Today is the first anniversary for the Steelfish and me, and I can honestly say I've been super satisfied with it. Since there's been some talk about accuracy problems with B:s I've been keeping a log since new year's eve and have gotten +1s/day since that (worn pretty much every day). I hope it'll continue like that in the future since I guess this one's a keeper.

                              AIAN HA-TO!

                                        Today was a first for me- a random guy actually asked me what watch I was wearing, and he wasn't just some clueless dude saying, "that's cool, what is it?"  He was wearing a Marathon C-SAR, so he knew a thing or two about watches.  He lost interest when he realized I wasn't wearing an IWC Big Pilot, just an ordinary Débaufré B-Uhr.  Still, an interesting occurrence.

                                          Mine's been losing an increasing amount of time this year. It started off at -10 seconds a day, and is now slipping by nearly a second an hour. 😞

                                            One day I'll upgrade to a RGM 300 or one of his handmade movements like the 801A. If you haven't heard of RGM check him out:
