DC is the new GSP for me. Was much more exciting before, has been becoming more of a wrestler again and playing it safe. He's good at it so it serves him well, just not the fans.

I havent watched it again but during the fight i felt that he yelled and the ref stoppage came directly after. Not alot of time to just let go. My opinion on any submission is to hold on and let the ref stop it. (The rare case being: u actually feel a bone break or feel the guy go unconscious). Ive seen a few old fights where the guy tapped and his opponent let go and they continued fighting cuz the ref didnt see the tap…wild
