It's a bit strange that we've never had a good boot selection out here. I grew up in Vancouver and I guess with the forestry you could always get good boots. I still have two pairs of Daytons that I bought 15+ years ago.

I suspect our population size doesn't warrant it. Very expensive stuff for a niche market. I think people are reluctant to wear nice gear in the winter on our salt soaked streets.

I know this is a long shot but do any GTA guys have a pair of size 36 beatle busters?? I would like to try on the cut before buying. I only own straight cut jeans and am concerned about the…accommodations

You want to try them on to see how the competition jeans will fit? The 666s are pretty similar in cut if you want to try mine. Got 18oz and 25oz.

Guilty as charged. Probably the 25oz as it will give the closest feel to what the comp jeans will be.
Given that urban woodsman is in town on the weekend of the 17th and 18th I'm thinking we should have an IH meet up. Maybe at The Dogs Bollocks on Queen St. if thats good for everyone?

I'm out of town from the 16-21. Wife has a conference in New Orleans so I'm tagging along. Paid for the flight with AirMiles so the trip is basically free for me.
Let me know if you want to meet up before to try on the 25oz, otherwise we'll plan something for after I'm back.

That whole block has changed so much in the last year. Which is pretty funny coming from me since I don't even live there.
There's also a Stussy store across the street. I'm not a fan really but them have New Balance.

That place is right next to the tattoo shop. I was not feeling up to browsing after my sit though. Next time, looked interesting.

Stussy is the same shop that was at Richmond and Spadina. Nothing particularly exciting.
Gravity pope is okay. Not really worth a special trip.
