      @AdamJ late 25 / early 26? Are those meant to be 26 / 27?

              Any other 14 Oz. IH-666 variations scheduled before that, @AdamJ ?

              Not that I don't like my faded 666 jeans, but both of them allready have multiple repairs and I need at least one new pair soon. Almost a year is a hell of a long time. 😞

                  Summertime in some places really raise the need for 14oz denim. Like, really. I guess next summer, maybe.

                    @tbird-0 don’t discount the 16oz slubby as they are very breathable in hot and humid weather. I haven’t personally experienced the 14oz, but it has been stated that they are not as breathable as the 16oz.

                      @tbird-0 unlike @goosehd I haven't worn the 16oz slubby. I do have the 14oz in 555 and the 18oz in 666 and I would prefer the 18oz in warmer temperatures

                        @goosehd come train horses in Texas in the summer and we’ll see. My 17+ oz denim goes on the rack until end of September here. Yeah, that’s heavier than 16oz, but I’d just say anything over 14oz in summer heat in the southern regions of the US is hard. Been there, done that. That said, I’ll consider the 16oz when they drop. Thanks for the input.

                          @Tago-Mago I’ve got a couple pairs of the 555 in 14oz that are my go to, but I’ve been wanting a pair of 666 so I have more room for western boots, which I use for riding. The 555 works okay, but the calf tends to need attention once it rides up the shaft of those style boots (constantly pulling them down). I imagine the 18oz in 666 would be more comfortable than 14oz 555 just due to fit in warmer weather.

                            @tbird-0 the weight isn't the issue, it's the tightness of the weave that makes it less comfortable to wear in warmer temperatures. In my case, the cut combined with the fabric doesn't help either, that is for sure.

                            Having said that, heat tolerance is subjective, and if the 14oz works for you in your climate, then absolutely go for a pair when they come back

                              @tbird-0 weight doesn’t always equate to warmth or coolness. The tight weave of the fabric will often make lighter weight fabrics warmer as they don’t breathe or let moisture through in the same way a less dense weave will. It’s easy to say that 14 would be cooler than 21oz., but the weave of the 21oz., makes them quite breathable. In my personal experience, the 16oz slubby is the most breathable denim that IH has produced.

                              Just my $.02

                                @Tago-Mago I feel like my 14oz loosened up more than my 17oz and higher pairs really fast. My favorite is my 21oz 555 overall, but those 14s just ended up like pajamas for me after working in them for a couple of weeks. I don’t think I realized the weave was tighter. That’s new news to me. Appreciate knowing that! Thank you.
