Underwater Sports

Noticed there is no particular thread for underwater sports, diving etc...

Well here's my input... Underwater Hockey... if you can spot some fins in the top right ... that's me! and I agree... this is VERY Niche...

HISTORY
The game was invented in Eastney swimming pool, just across the harbour from HQ in Portsmouth's historical Eastney Swimming Pool used for training by the Cockleshell Heroes.

The Game created in 1954 by Southsea Sub-aqua club as something to do to keep fit, during the winter, when they weren't diving. The game spread far and is played internationally.

@Karol I did see this! - I didn't want to infringe on the scuba!

UWH is very closely linked to scuba but also free-diving, water polo and such! - Always wanted to learn to scuba but never really took the opportinity

It is on the list!!
