I was really let down with my jacket .. I woke up early to get this on release day .... bought in size small ( im a size small in everything ) When I tried on the jacket I thought they might have sent me the wrong size .. The small fits like a medium . The sleeves are all hella long .. and the torso is way too wide ... the length is ok ... but I feel like a 800$ jacket needs to be perfect . and the sizing ( this always happened to me with Iron Heart ) is off and doesn't fit like a normal garment of the same size .

@micahweiss Are the measurements from the jacket you received substantially different from the measurements posted above in the first post of this thread?

I'm the same size as you then. I wear small in IH shirts except the UHF, which is a medium. I'm a medium/38 in most IH outerwear pieces.

Just want to make sure I can wear a sweater or something similar underneath if I go small!

Sizing can be tricky sometimes. Sorry it didn't work out for you.

@micahweiss Sorry the jacket didn't work out for you. Unlike a lot of other brands, you need to look at garment measurements, not tag sizes. A good starting point is this:

The way to go is to use that template to measure one of your pieces that fits you and then pick the appropriate size based on the published measurements. If in doubt, email the guys at shop@ironheart.co.uk. They will be happy to help

Guys. Is model IHM-35-BLK specific to the black coat /black collar? Im seeing the brown collar listed at some usa stockists under same model#. On iron heart site only black/black comes up . Unless im missing something. Im trying to find the black with brown collar was that a limited run or what model# should i be searching? Any info appreciated gents

@Tago-Mago gotcha For the model number would be the same That explains the mixed Search results In the black with the dark brown collar is the oiled version. thanks for the info While I got you on the line, lol Are the oiled versions The same jacket for the most part Just waxed by Ironheart ?

@caseyjonez The oiled versions are constructed slightly different. D-shaped pockets on the regular versions, internal pockets on the oiled ones.

I know it's less fitted than most on here would wear it, but I want that oversized/Nigel cabourn look.

I went for the XXL, I was advised to go XL but this is what I'm after.

We have the sample available still, in size Large. I'm not putting it on the main website as it doesn't have the regular washing instructions on the inside so it does not match production run. PM me if you're interested
