Pulled the trigger on this after I saw pics from a guy on the IH Underground FB page. Iron Heart could learn from his photos. I had scrolled past this jacket many times and never even clicked. But his pics showed what the jacket really looked like. Textures and tones. Not slamming either. I'm sure a lot of thought goes into online presentation. Different screens and whatnot

I have to say I ordered the 526, I received the wrong jacket. The 507bod instead. I love the buttons. They look so cool. Pre-patina'd

Is it true this piece shrinks more during the overdye process?
Does anyone wear this and also the 526pj? If so, does the 526pj fit a bit looser than this piece?

@MassiveThighs The overdyeing process removes all shrink from the garment. You will not/can not expect any more shrinkage.

@MassiveThighs I have both jackets of the 526pj and it is more loose, the sleeves are extremely wider, I don't know if you can see the difference in these photos of him, but it is quite substantial

Tried the 526pj and yes, sleeves are much wider compared to this slbod. -
@JoshC I'm not upset sorry if it seemed that way. I just referred to it as my experience with the old buttons/dye process. I've got the return label and we're all set up. Thanks

@MassiveThighs You really should stop being concerned about tag sizes and look at published measurements. Tag sizes are only a guide…

@MassiveThighs For me personally, I have tag size 33-36 jeans, and medium - XXL in shirts/jackets. 95% of those fit me the way I like/prefer because I trusted the measurements. The 5% that don’t fit is because I went with tag size.

@MassiveThighs yes I think you should take a jacket and a pair of jeans that you love and measure them and use these to compare them with the indicative tables, very often not only does my size vary from item to item but also from batch to batch of items. Of course you will probably fall within a range of 2/3 sizes and not all items are suitable for all physiques unfortunately (at least in my case, I often have to give up because it just wouldn't work on me
). But this is also part of the game and in any case there will always be something new coming out that will make us lose our minds

@Luijim78 thanks. Looks like I’m an XL in the 526PJ and XXL in SLBod. I just got my XL 526pj and it fits much roomier than the XL SLBod that I had. Pretty sure it’s a different batch like you said and variance across sizing.

Switched my XL to XXL. For some reason the measurements I received is way off from what I just measured(smaller measurements), but it worked out lol.
