@DeeDee85 okay now it's getting complicated. My 21oz 555 are a little more relaxed so maybe I could go with the same size. But since I'd have to order from UK to Germany and def will need a hemming I don't want to mess up. Afraid of having way to wide legs when I go one size up... Maybe I wait for the restock of 777D and check if some german retailer stocks them.

@FlavourFade would be worth ringing IHUK Tuesday morning for a chat? I usually buy a tag 34 in the 555 cut and aim for a waist measurement of around 34.5 to 35 and then stretch them a wee bit. The tag 34 555 ducks are listed as 35.6 waist and I could barely fasten them or get them over my thighs. They are wearable just going to take a lot of effort to break in. If you compare the thigh measurements to other 555 denims these are about the slimmest 555 so far. I do think you could go up a size, I certainly wish I had

I don’t know if this helps at all, but I was in the same position…. I didnt know whether to wait for the 777 , but impatience got the better of me. So i ordered the 555 (with hemming) and went for a size 31 ( my actual waist is 33). The measurements were exactly as advertised on IH, and whilst they are probably slimmer than I would normally go for, I think they fit alright. And they definitely loosen up a little with wear. Hope that helps mate.

@NorvilleRogers thanks a bunch! I think they look great on you. Right now I am wearing 777 mostly but I have a pair of 555 21 oz which I have send away for hemming and when they return I will check again how they fit in the waist and thighs. I have only worn them 5-6 times and they are a little more relaxed since I can't go full slim because of my belly
they may already have given a little - I will check if they are closer to 36 now or still like original 35 waist measurements. Then decide what to do about the almighty duck

@FlavourFade they look perfect! I went with my normal size and wish I’d sized up now. The thighs are so tight on mine but they are slowly becoming comfortable

Even with a 36 instead of my 555s-21 im size 35 and fitting great I feel them being snug on thighs when I move and bend my knees. But I love how they sit, bit relaxed in total and not skinny like some guys with waist 30 in 555... That's not my vibe even if I had the option

@DeeDee85 they are pure awesomeness! Wore them the first time yesterday evening and they feel great. Rigid and rugged, crisp, but still comfortable. They amazed me like the first 21oz or XHS. I think IH ducks in any cut are a staplepiece and go with almost everything

That’s what I did bought 2 pairs but went up Two sizes , went for relaxed fit look… super comfortable

I just like my denim comfy but not baggy and don't wear engineers so no need for giant hem... 555 Tag 35/36 is not super slim but perfect for my body

Man I love these ducks. Wear them more right now and how they crease and mold to my body feels amazing. They feel more rigid and dense than the 21oz denim but still so comfy.

Perfect vacation pair.. Looks good with shirt for dinner or rugged for some nice hikes

This thread really saved me. This bit about the fit in general. Going by the waist measurements I had ordered a 36(and was a little excited I was a 36
) being 38.1"ish. After reading about the thighs ECT I contacted ISP and changed to a 38 and they're perfect. Way more trim than either the ib or 21oz 555 I have. And that's a good thing. So thanks Iron Heart forum @FlavourFade @Goosetown
