Using a rainy afternoon to try to make up for days of forum neglect, and I found these posts - so lovely - but then I realised they are in random rants.  Did I miss something (highly likely)?

I've noticed that it takes approximately 13-15 days of wear to begin seeing fade on all my jawnz and after that the process speeds up…..on to my next 15-30 days of wear.

after doing some laundry i have determined that IRON HEART needs to make heavy duty trousers or some other non traditional jean.

my favorite trousers are my Rogue Territory work trousers followed by my SEXT11, it's supposed to be IRON HEART everything . .  .

they aren't my favorites trousers, trousers, trousers.  the 702s are a thing of beauty, but i need them to be a bit rougher & heavier this is IRON HEART damn it.

How long have you worn it for. You should take it back if it hurts that much. Sure have it firm and let it mould to your feet but not so tight it hurts

Is the toe box too small? Or is it the shaft of the boot?

The shaft will soften up a lot after a couple weeks

In my experience, the toe box does not

It's the toe box, went with the same size as I did in my Iron Rangers which was one size down from my TTS but these 8173' seem much tighter! Can't return them now as I've worn them for a couple of days.
Oh well live and learn.

shame. I have a well broken in pair of the same boot in a 11 (but in dark brown) that are surplus to requirement and you would have been welcome to them (youre just down the road from me). Anyway, I am not sure why I just wrote all that on a theoretical non-event…
