Just received my first leather jacket from the good folks over at Standard & Strange. This is a collaboration they did with Simmons Bilt. I can't express how stoked I am to break this bad boy in. Elliot and Mari were very helpful when it came to sizing. Elliott, for example, must have emailed me 30 times just to make sure I got the right fit. I also had the zippers removed on the hand warmers so it had to be custom made. Besides IH, I've never worked with better people. Here's a couple pics.

Looking smart. How did you size for this, planning to layer, how are the measurements? The leather looks supple but what happens if you get caught in the rain? Natural veg tan boots don’t take kindly to getting wet as I recall.
Waiting for jeather jacket weathers here so posts like this are most welcome.

The owner of S & S says, in the post I screenshot, he's put it through the rain. Don't know if I'd do that, though. As for the sizing, I used my favorite IH denim jacket. I can wear a button up under, but I will most likely just wear t-shirts. I live I. Los Angeles so a t-shirt and this jacket could work even on the coldest day here. It's a beast in terms of weight.
