cheers Blackheart,,was a coverup,,had a fekkin awful tatt underneath,,girlfriend hated it,,so she sat with me while a local tattooist,,Pete Gray  from Ellesmere Port,worked his magic on it,,cant remember but i think it was 4 sittings,,

Pete did a great job on the cover up, the lines and colors are perfect! If you saw the one of my Japanese
thunder God on this thread, that one was done all at one time - 7 1/2 hours under the needle, 11 colors…!

Wow, I never would have thought it's a cover-up. He's done good work and the colours are really special, you don't often get to see that silver.

Koi sleeve, I posted up something similar a couple pages back

Red koi on the left arm (red koi represents mom)

Black koi on right arm (black koi represents dad)

Going to be a mix of traditional japanese themes with a biker spin

Yeah, I really can't get away with full sleeves with my job, plus I'm looking forward to the shock value.

I come across as a straight laced guy, I'm sure I'll raise a couple eyebrows with two sleeve tats

Doug, I've worn long sleeves here at work for the last 11 years…Everyone has seen my tats and a lot of my
co-workers have them too. Hospital policy is that we can't have them visible. I look pretty straight laced in
my scrubs but if I came in here looking the way I do on weekends they'd call the police...!

Keep me posted on your co-workers reaction, you'll probably have to pry their eyebrows off the ceiling with
a crow bar!

Ha, I'm the opposite.
I'm a tattooer and wear short sleeves at work all day and tend to cover up the minute I leave and go out in public (rarely ever wear short sleeves out in the world)…
I like blending in during my off time and not being the "tattoo guy".

I'd rather get comlipimented on my nice IH shirts rather than my "tats"...

My problem is that unless I'm wearing a jacket, I always have my sleeves rolled up. I've been doing that as long as I can remember

Right on Katsushin, I pretty much only wear short sleeves during the summer so I'm covered up the majority of
the time. Here in LA everyone is tattooed so I only get the rare compliment on my work, instead it's " Hey, where
did you get those jeans?! "

Same for me at work Doug, I'm a sleeve roller. As long as I'm not in the patient care areas I can get away with
it, until the director walks in…!

see her she always asks me if I have gotten any new one and wants to see them…
