Spiderman: Into The Spiderverse - 8/10

I would've given it a higher rating but the disc I rented from Redbox was scratched to hell so there were parts of the movie I had to skip over  But, I liked the parts I did see. The animation style was visually interesting and the story was good.

My daughter really liked the movie, so we re-watched ita couple of nights ago.  I still love it, even after multiple viewings.

We also watched Aquaman, which was really, really dumb, but kinda fun.

I'll have to circle back and re-watch Spiderman when it's available at my library. I asked my son if he wanted to watch Bumblebee or Aquaman and he had zero interest.

Bumblebee got a similar response at our house.

We watched Aquaman for two reasons- first, we didn't want to watch Into The Spider-verse two nights in a row, which is what Caroline was advocating for, and second, my wife wanted to watch Jason Momoa walk around without a shirt.

the director definitely had a fondness for the 80’s cartoon but seemed like he was trying to shoehorn some of the the characters into the film. Lots of time spent showcasing 80’s music and film (like Breakfast Club) but little time spent on a good story. Even dumber than the Michael Bay films which were at least watchable

@Filthy given reports that there'll be zombie Palpatine (or some other way he's back from the dead) in Episode IX, it's a good thing that Poe has gone for this new look!

Forrest Gump: a remarkable masterpiece. While watching The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (which is a great movie as well) it constantly reminded me of it and I had to rewatch it.
