Is this denim stiff or soft out of the bag? Compared to say the 21oz? Also, weave tightness? How well do these breathe?

Stiffer, tighter, less breathable.  Not nearly as comfortable.

@Brock thought it is the 666 cut on the world? But I'm not sure

@Chris how do they break in after some abuse? Pretty comfy I'm guessing?

Ordered me a 34. Have to wait on measurements on the 4 pairs left. Can't wait. Been eyeing these up since introduced. Last IH purchase for a LONG time.

You'll have to ask someone with a broken in pair.  I've only had mine a year, so they're not there yet.  I need 2-3 years to get a pair tamed.

2 years? I'd say a solid month of wearing should break in most denim or ducks in any case.

I'll find out soon enough. Didn't know there would be no more  of this fabric in the future. Glad I got em when I did.

@trail and arrow should be banned from wearing IH jeans because he abuses them in cruel and unusual ways! 😉

                          That's a title I can accept.

                          Shoddy job done.

Can't wait to see how this fabric is. How is comfort compared to the UHR 21/23?

Beautiful fabric, soft but sadly the seat is too snug for my cut. Washing them would make them horrible for me then ha. Have to send em back.

Well after much thinking, I decided to actually keep these. Hot soaked them, then dipped the hem/bottom in boiled water, let drip dry and used a heat gun to dry the hem/bottom(below knees) as I wanted them to shrink, shrink as much as possible in hem but keep as loose as possible every where else. Also wore them while slightly damp to help stretch em quicker. I was worried due to the numbers but after finding out it has a good bit of stretch be fit is good. The ride is a tad short, but easy to get over.

Oh, while the weave is tight, I think these are comfy and smooth. Dunno why I read they weren't. Guess I'm used to double ducks….

I threw these on when still damp to stretch then quicker as I was afraid of too much shrinkage. Hopped on the bike to dry them the best way I know and saw they left an imprint on my wallet. Top stitches and the arc, thought it was cool.

Pocket knife leaving it's Mark. Seeing a bit of fades everywhere. #2 in terms of fade time off all IH I owned. DD will always be #1
