Great suggestion @Chris . I got off of work early, went to Gruene, walked around, went to some winery's, stopped by the Gruene Hall, they were having a poetry reading while I was there, so I went for drinks and dinner in the Gristmill. Again, thanks, great place, I prefer to stay away from chain restaurants

Glad you enjoyed it.  New Braunfels and the surrounding area is one of the more likeable parts of Texas.

Prior to Garland, TX., I'm flying to Cincinnati, OH. today until Friday.

Again, I fail to keep up with my travels. Last week I ended up in Norfolk, VA. which I love. Currently, I'm in Dallas. I flew here on Sunday, probably on the first plane in after the storms, and never had so much turbulence on a plane for 45 minutes. Glad I'm here though. I also love this city. I'm staying at a hotel that's having a convention for nurses. Fun to watch them going out looking for their cowboy of dreams.

London, UK. 7/20 - 7/26. My time here is kind of taken up during this period, but I would like to get to Rivet & Hyde.

Saw today that an AA flight from London, LHR to Charlotte, NC was evacuated at the gate, prior to take off due to smoke in the cabin. Fortunately I wasn't on this one.

Had a great dinner here at Lutter & Wegner. Also ate one evening at Max & Moritz, which was nice.

Back to UK 7/20, this is coming up fast as did Berlin. Looking forward to spending the day 7/22, with the stubborn crew.

I made it to Gosport 22 July and had a great day. Giles taught me how to play Boule, which I won, but I think @Giles let me win. First pictures are on arrival to Gosport from Portsmouth Harbour.

Then I thought that Giles arranged for the Red Arrows for a fly over for my arrival. I was wrong.

Spent a great day with @PattyCakez , @Winchy, @Sam , @Madame Buttonfly , @Giles and @Tempvs .

A day / evening with friends in Kew. A great wine store.

One reason I flew over was for a friends birthday party. I have known this family about 26 years and their children.
