thanks @Oleg i would say the food too. it's easy to find japanese food anywhere in this world, but the flavours and authenticity of the food is hard to match. something about the passion from these chefs in japan just makes it different.

@nizzel55 if you don't mind me asking, how often do you wash/soak your jeans? You have some of my favorite fades on these boards. Are you just always wearing a pair and constantly abusing them?

^^^ And I think I just answered my own question based on your post from the previous page…. 1 soak 3 machine wash 210 days. Now I guess my only question is how are you destroying jeans so beautifully?

I think the main contributers to my fades are my two kids (5 and 2 years old) .
They keep me on my knees a lot. Playing with lego or just chasing them pretending that I am a lion or something. Or helping them with their clothes and so on.
Other then that I do not live a very "active" life atm. Comuting to work with my car. Working in front of a computer. So I am sitting most of the day.
But I am also perplexed why my pair is falling apart and why for example @enell s pair (same model) is holding up so well. Despite that he got almost 80 more days of wear. His pair is amazing. -

Last day with my mate in Osaka. Visited the Osaka castle and the Kaiyukan Aquarium. Second time visiting the aquarium and for those who have not visited, i'd say the aquarium is a must see when you're in Osaka. Unfortunately not much photos from inside the osaka castle and the outdoor viewing deck "cages" made it difficult for a skyline shot too. hope you enjoy…

24th and 26th of Jan
Trying to compile the last few days of proper sightseeing stuff. A visit to Nara and a trip down to okayama.
Nara's very beautiful and serene. It has a very ancient feel to it being one of the ancient capital of Japan. Nice old temples and restoration of the Nara Palace. Also a good sight of the wild deers that free roam around the central park. Gotta watch of for the shit they leave everywhere. Being wild though, they do disappear out of sight when the sun starts to set, which makes me wonder, where do they even go if they're wild…
Unfortunately, wasn't able to make it to Okayama on the weekend where everything is open so i had to make do with a few stores that were opened. Top tip: if you want to make the most of kojima, go on the weekends.

if you noticed in some of the photos above on the kojima main street, the asphalt on the street is blue with red and white stripes, signifying blue denim and the selvage line…
