Robbie looked pretty damn sharp and matt brown…...well he was matt brown, tuff as fuckin nails that guy. Didnt look to b at his best but still goes hard and never stops....warrior. -
Why would you go and fight in Brazil as a non Brazilian fighter? Blatently rigged and the crowd has to much influence on the judges decision in IMO. Just watched the Alves Vs Jouban fight and the result was a joke. OSP first round finish made up for it though, you could hear a pin drop in the crowd.

Sry boys, was late watching this one. Was told the card sucked so just watched the Shogun fight. Wow man! Shogun just doesnt have "it" anymore at all. Maybe because the refs in UFC dont wear earpieces like the "refs" did in PRIDE. Or he has jus taken too much damage over the years. Either way, he should prob hang'em up now.
As for the PPV last night:
I was fairly impressed with the whole card. Lamas looked great against a really good as of late Bermudez. Gastelum made Ellenberger look terrible and the main event was pretty wild. Hunt had Werdum hurt a few times but he came back and KO'd Hunt (did not see that comming). Werdum in the last 2yrs has improved his stand by 300%. I am now a fan. He used to rely soley on his JJ in years past and looked like a pussy (watch werdum/overeem). -
Sounds like one to watch. I've been stuck at work this week so didn't get to see it. Big fan of Gastelum, champ in the making I reckon.

I agree dude. Started out lookin like it was gonna get finished bit got pretty lame. Diaz came out fighting like Anderson (counter puncher). As soon as i saw he (diaz) wasnt being aggressive i knew it would suck. Cant believe he said that he thought he won every round lol

Anderson's a counter puncher and Nick hasn't got the footwork to get in and out quick enough to land shots , thought it went pretty much as expected ( always easy to say after the fact , but … )
i really hope Nick has a few good wins at ww because i really want to see a Lawler rematch , i think Lawler could get the win this time around

I def agree that Anderson is a counter striker, always has been. Buuut, Nick has hands down the best boxing in ufc. He def has hand speed and great accuracy. He just decided to play it safe and not be aggressive. Aggressive is how you lose to Anderson.

I can agree on that. He def taunts guys to get them to come at him but normally he keeps after them with alot of pressure after they do so. Then again everyone else he has fought wasnt Anderson Silva lol. I thought that the Spider would have finished him. Oh well. He looked pretty decent for being off for 13mons with a smashed leg tho. Threw a few heavy kicks with that leg aswell. Glad to see him back

Hahaha. I actually Conor. The arrogance makes me laugh. He says its not trash talk, its just the truth that he believes lol. Dude seems pretty legit so far and im not so sure Aldo can handle him tho. The guy to do it (and i dont like him) is Frankie Edgar. There is a reason they skipped him and went right to Aldo
As for Anderson, i totally agree. I would like to see him fight 1-2 more guys first. I like Weidman alot but i dont think he is better then Anderson -
I hate it when DJ is the main event. Soooo annoying. You know its gonna go all 5rds. Hes been doing better lately and actually finishing fights so that is good and I appreciate it. Atleast its 5rds with a finish instead of his usual 5rd cage humping.
The card lastnight was pretty weak looking but i was happy with the fights. Next ppv looks amazing tho:
Jones/Johnson
Weidman/Belfort
Khabib/Cerrone
Arlovski/Browne
And the undercard looks good too. Im excited for that one -

im most looking forward to Lawlers first title defence but ill be in Tokyo so i will have to stay away from any mma news untill i get home , not sure if i could order the ppv through my fight pass account and watch in the hotel …. i hope so ( done the same for a big Fox card the morning of my wedding in Thailand
