My battery is good, bike runs on push start. How do I tell which is the problem? Do I need to invest in a voltmeter?

      +1 on the voltmeter @badgerskunk 😃

I visited a friend in Bury St Edmunds yesterday, and he took me down to Krazy Horse for lunch.

I'd seen some of their bikes at the Bikeshed show back in May, and wanted to take a closer look at the Paton S1. I really like this one, and would like to get a test ride. They seem pretty obliging too. Maybe next time…

As well as trading in weird and wonderful low production run machines, they also build their own choppers. This one has a ridiculous set of handlebars on it.

The tank on a Zero Engineering custom.

All I know about this bike is that it's called The Tattoo, and it's built around a Harley V-Twin. I think that it's another Zero.

Mental S&S racer. The seating position was extreme, and the exhaust was loud.

There were some modern Indians there, but this 1939 Kiwi Indian will probably go down better.

And, lastly, a Morgan Three Wheeler in Gulf Racing livery.

I don't have any photos of the little chop. Sorry. 😞

Someone's now got an excuse to visit Krazy Horse to check it out though. 🙂

@summ3rhays - I run a BMW R1200R. No problems with mine, other than the fuel gauge failing. Twice.

It's a very practical, comfortable machine, that can be surprisingly quick. The dimensions are pretty good if you're a taller rider.

There's a new model due to be unveiled at Intermot in three weeks. That'll add the watercooled engine, along with a restyle. Alternatively look at the R nineT, which is same mechanics as the current R, but is slightly smaller.

The Multistrada is a very good bike. But if you've got big feet then the pillion pegs will interfere with your heel position. 😞 (Spot the reason I didn't buy one!)

If you don't need to carry a lot of luggage then the BMW S1000R might be worth looking at. The KTM Superduke 1290 is more of a beast, but does have a set of panniers available.

Other bikes you might be interested in that are due at Intermot or EICMA…

                                • BMW S1000XR - A Multistrada competitor based on the S1000RR.

                                • KTM Adventure 1290 - A Multistrada competitor based on the Superduke 1290.

                                • BMW R1200RS / ST - A faired, sports tourer based on the Boxer engine. There's a very good chance that this will be my next bike.

                                • Kawasaki Ninja H2 - It's got a supercharger! You can't go wrong with that… 😃

@harley dave - cool pictures. I should have hauled myself up there.

The dealership near me doesn't have any R1200R to test drive, but should have most on the list.
