What's your favorite Beer?

Onto this. Any good saison suggestions? I'm new to drinking good beer, a bottle shop just opened by my house.

Is Founder's this expensive everywhere in the States?.. 20 $ for a regular 4-pack is very expensive... If I buy local beers I pay 3 € for a bottle tops, and then you have bourbon barrel aged Struise beers...

No, most of their 4-packs are about half that price. Only the really special seasonal ones like the KBS and Devil Dancer are that expensive. They're worth it, though. And DanielAFC is right, a serious hangover is guaranteed with the Devil Dancer. It's the price you pay for dancing with The Lord of darkness.

Some of the Founder's are more. KBS this run was $32 for 4 pack, what I understand Curmudgeon's Better Half and Sweet Repute will be $7.50a bottle or $30 a 4 depending on demand.

Is the price so high cause it's limited or because of the brew process involved?.. Cause if not the latter, I can only shake my head in disagreement…

Product loss in the process is the way I understand it. About half that gets aged has to be dumped, so price should directly reflect so.

No hassle at all. I do my best to hit the special editions anyway, so I thought a package in that vein would be appreciated. Particularly since you like bourbon barrel and properly aged brews. I have complete trust in whatever you pick, so don't worry that much on it. I'm close though….real close
