Do shifters have a habit of making a permanent impression on boots?

Aye, thanks, figured this much, I was wanting to try to avoid this on my new boots but I'll just have to suck it up.

Cheers, I bought it as a total basket case, thought I'd do a quick fix up but got a little carried away.

This morning I decided to go for a little ride. I started in South Cumbria, where I fired up the Boxer…

A couple of hours later I was at Keele Services.

Then down the M6, M42 and M40 to Cherwell Valley Services.

Where I saw a very sad looking Focus RS. (The other side was even more of a mess.)

And lastly, after 270 miles, I arrived in Southwest London, where my bike's going to live now. 😃

Some great bikes on here for sure!

I've done a bit over 900km now, and loving riding more and more every time I hop on the bike.  I also had the front sprocket on the Monster swapped out for a 14 tooth one from the standard 15 yesterday, it's made quite a big difference to how hard it pulls off the line, and a lot less need to ride the clutch so much around town at lower speeds. It's made a fun bike even better 🙂

I'll put some pics up soon…

I've been tempted to swap out the front sprocket as well. Very tempting.
