    @leftofthedial:

    out of curiosity, are rebels really easy to make into bobbers? from scanning craigslist i've seen quite a few recently.

    to achieve something like what addic has isn't too hard.. remove the front fender, add a solo seat, put a bobbed fender on the rear and add a side mount license plate and then rattle can it flat black and you'll have a fun ride

      about 90% there. still need to change the rear fender to a polished round fender, new clutch lever and maybe a different seat. other than it taking a crapper yesterday when i was trying to get to a screening of Easy Rider (oh the irony), I'm pretty stoked.

      edit: a clutch adjustment and i was good to go… broke it in yesterday with about an 80 mile round trip from hollywood to huntington beach. the bike held up well and so did my 634s

              I've been pretty absent as of late, because I have been working on this:

              1975 RD350, she runs pretty well and is now rideable thanks to long evenings for the last week and a half or so.  Rearsets should be on soon, then it's likely a cafe seat unless I get into the ignition or something.  So much fun but it's a little money pit.

                                went down today. clipped a car head on going about 20mph. only things hurting are left ankle/foot and right leg. plus a puncture on my right thigh.

                                thank God I'm all right. and thanks to Shoei for protecting my head.

                                  I had a friend who used to say, "The only people that wear helmets are people that think they have something worth protecting."  🙂

                                  Glad you're OK, dude.

                                    haha i like that saying. but thanks. i actually just limped to my garage to take a look at the bike and helmet. only a few minor scratches on the top of the helmet and face shield.

                                    as for the bike…not as lucky.

                                        Ok, time to add some of my toys to this thread.

                                        The KTM RC8R sportsbike, gave this some serious thrashing this summer in the UK ( when the weather was favourable ).

                                        On the pushbike front I am lucky enough to own a Jeff Jones bike.  These photos were taken when Jeff visited the Uk and I took him on a good route around the Peak District.

                                        There is no 'I' in team …............ however there are five in 'individual brilliance'.

                                          That RC8R is pure sickness.  Veeeeeeeery nice.
