Ok.  I ended up getting 0.8 inches shrinkage in the waist and about 1.5 in the inseam.  And the fit pics…

I haven't figured out what I'm going to do yet with the length.  They're double-cuffed in these shots which I don't mind.  I might wear them for a while like this and maybe do a hemming later if I think it's necessary.

Jesse, I just measured the hem and it came in at 7.5 inches which, assuming the posted measurements were accurate, would mean a 0.4 inch shrinkage.  I didn't do a pre-soak measurement of the hem as my main focus was on inseam length and waist.

Snowy and Seul - thanks for the kind words.  I'm happy with the fit and will keep up the double-cuffs for a while to see how it goes.  This is an experimental pair for me.  I'm hoping to get a feel and sense for how IH's raw denim evolves and also whether I like massive cuffs or not.    I think it was Chuck Denim (or someone else on the boards?) that was saying they never hem and just cuff so I wanted to see whether the same philosophy would work for me or not.  All part of my never ending education in denim…

I wish I could fit my waist into these in a size 30 or 31, but console myself with the thought of the imminent arrival of my IH-555-01.

I've been thinking of buying the 666s because I find the BB Raw's leg opening a little too wide and the stacks a little weird. And I don't think altering this pair is a good idea. Any opinions?

I'm looking to trade/sell my fairly new raw busters size 30 and hemmed to 33 at SESF about 2 months ago.
I soaked them twice (to max the shrinkage). They have been worn off/on and have very minimal fading.

Great jeans, but the calves flare too much for my liking. I'd be interested in trading for a 666 or 666od would be even better. If anyones interested PM me!

Hi everybody, i'm a newbie in IH denim and especially in the sizing.
I would like to buy IHxB01xRAW but i don't know what size i have to take.

I hesitate between 30 and 31.
I am wearing Edwin ED-71 raw selvage size 31", denim APC new standard size 31", LVC 1967 505 size 31".

Should i take the same size or one size down. I like to wear my denim with no washing and i know sometimes it's hard to wear the raw denim during the first week to have a good fit after many wearings.

I wear 29 on most jeans but I wear 30 for the Busters. If they're loose you can give them a hot soak.
