I like the Spyderco my first big boy knife was a Delica.

I picked up a Spyderco military recently, I absolutely love it. For cutting it's a winner. Like D666 I have a lot
of high end expensive tactical folders that I never use, the military I use. Great knife. -
BH this is what I like so much about you. Your a ballsy broad. Total ass kicker!!! Your musical prowess is just a bonus.

Thank you D!

@grumpymike do you have any Tony Bose customs? Who else besides Dr T do you recommend for classic customs folders?

Great knife Mike, you have some real beauties.
Does anyone own or have an info on Medford knives? Would love some feedback before I pull the trigger.

I don't have any Bose knives, but maybe one day. There are lots of great makers out there who make slip joints. Bose, Ruple, Halfrich, Pena, Zscherny, Ploppert, Menefee, Coats, Bloomer, Dowell, Taber's, Chamblin, Doc Hagen, Ohta, just to name a few… happy hunting
Edit: just throwing it out there, I'd trade this knife for a new pair of 666D in 38...

I love the Ohta's literally just talked myself down from pulling the trigger on a frikky folder. I'm so proud of myself.

Hiroaki Ohta Rosewood Slip Joint -
The fit & finish on Ohta is unreal. Nicest knife I have ever owned. Will only be purchasing his knives from now on.

Hi. I'm new to the forum as of today and I'm happy that this topic is being discussed. I too have been wanting to get a carry a knife because I can't count the times I've needed one and never carry one. It's also for those possible "Oh ….!" situations. Can anybody suggest something easy to carry and especially easy to access quickly that would likely be legal. I was just looking at knives yesterday on eBay and I see these "spring assisted" knives that sellers claim are legal. I'm just not sure how "assisted" these knives are and am wary of anything I'm going to carry every day that might not be street legal. I'm willing to throw down a couple hundred bucks, maybe more for something easy to carry, access, and that I would be proud to own. Any suggestions? Thanks!

WOW! That Ohta is NICE! I just looked that one up. That I would be proud to carry. I really want very easy access too though…
