I'm a big fan. They are really soft. Looking forward to the denim to settle.

Yours are soft, huh?  Man, mine are still stiff as hell- although they're pretty well embedded with sweat and building dust at this point…  The denim is starting to soften up a little in the seat, and around the waist near the pockets (the high traffic areas), but the rest of it is pretty stiff.  It is really cool denim, and I love the fit of these.  Looks cool derivative!

Yes, looks great D - I love this denim too - i wasn't crazy about the fit on my 666S (tight thighs and too much ass showing) but I loved the 18oz - now that I have these, they are so much more comfortable that I sold my Devils to my bro-in-law.  It's such a great combination - these jeans in this denim are the nuts.

Nice- the ultimate Vulcans pic…  Love how the 18 oz denim shows off in that shot too...  I've said it before, and I'm sure many others have as well, but I love the differences with the 18 oz and 21 oz denim- the 21 oz is so soft, and has a beautiful sheen, but the 18 oz is rough and ready, and I can tell it's going to give up some incredible fades.  A while back Giles pointed me to the 666s thread, and I find myself drooling over some of the incredible pairs there- and the Vulcans will be just as spectacular.

Your MBBs are probably cooler than the Vulcans. Tight weave=scweddy balls.

Mike. I think the biggest problem is my MBB are just to big for me.  Hoping for a much better fit come Monday.

I did do a hot soak. And after a week of wear they fit better. Still not as great a fit as my 634sWh. I should have sized up one. 32 instead of 31 But I'm enjoying them.

Mine have stretched a bit from their original post soak state- be patient, and I bet you'll be fine.  But yea, it does suck walking around with an uncomfortably tough waist…

I'm now wearing a pair of these daily in the office. The stealth arcs + modern straight + decent thigh measurements made them the pick of the litter.

^Really?  I always pegged these as a bit too casual for office wear.  You know, with the leather triangle, slubby denim, and higher-contrast fades (eventually).  For what it's worth, I feel like the original 634s is the perfect office jean.

I'm not arguing with you, though.  I'm sure you wear it well, Snow Man.

I was surprised at how well put together my Vulcans looked when they were clean and new-  They definitely can clean up well.  The denim is slubbier than 21 oz, of course, but still looks very lush and high end.  I wouldn't hesitate at all to dress them up and wear them to work.
