does anyone who has these or similar 634 cut have any issues wearing them over an engineer boot? have placed an order with viberg and just hoping that it wont be an issue to get my jeans over the boot...

I have them in a size 32 and can get them over my motorcycle boots (Alpinestars SMX-Plus).

Just a comment - I tried the SExIHxLS collab, and LOVED the denim - but the fit was funky for me. I wear a 38 in IH - all fit great: Vulcans, BB 21s and Devil 18s.  Ordered them in a 36" per Kiya's advice and they fit "OK" - but the rise was way too low for me - couldn't keep em up.  So I exchanged them for the Devil 18s  a good choice.  But I can't stop thinking about that dark, inky blue denim… I think the pics in this thread have me sold on trying this denim in the 634 cut - they still have some 38s on the SE site.  But I agree with some comments I've seen here though, that the measurements look a tad different than other 634s - maybe a bit wider and slightly less tapered leg?  It won't take much to push me over the edge I'm afraid...

Do it.  Guarantee you won't regret it.  SE's measurements are always a bit dicey, anyways.  If you don't love them, send them back.  Kiya has great customer service, and they are sanforized so you will know how they fit straight away.

My experience with them would tend to agree that they are just a bit wider than the 21oz 634s.

I can probably help out with old lady interventions too if need be…

Thx you guys. and Feck - I even called and got the rear rise, and that was copasetic - so I had no choice but to pull trigger. This sure ain't no denim addict support group! but I could have worse habits.  Hopefully I'll be home when they show up and she won't notice them amongst my other IHs.

You're going to love this denim. It turns everything it touches blue. Your hands will be blue while you break in the buttons, your shoes will turn blue (my white nursing shoes have blue rings, and the Kevlar laces on my Alden indys are blue now). My computer chair at home is blue, and even parts of my bed sheets where I sat down turn blue. Lol. The denim feels tough and is plenty comfortable.

I can't wait.  I had to send the SExIHxLSs back, they fit terrible - but that denim… Slick,  tight weave, dark-dark, inky blue. Damn!! Way cool.  Then I stumbled on this thread and saw they had the same denim in the 634 cut!! Checked the SE site and feck, nothing left but MY size. Meant to be.  SE ships USPS, arrives in Louisville 3 days.  I will soon be staining the bluegrass state dark blue.

As a proud member of the large cuff brigade (shout outs to Friday and Davito), this was even a little long for me (6"). Ended up doubling it @ 3" afterwards….These were worth the wait. They feel really different to the IH-634S'.

Congrats. This is my favorite IH jean… Like it so much I have two pair. One that has some am early wear that I may be using for the hwdc and one that is still crisp and tagged sitting in a stack of "denim-for-someday"
