Seul, got my first Belgian ale the other day at my local growler shop. Will hopefully be finding someone to split my howler of St. Bernardus Abt 12 in the next few days. I had a tiny sample of it and 2 other IPAs while at the shop and can honestly say I felt tipsy lol

Me mate and I are going back to GEERS tomorrow… He called me, all excited, as I texted him I was making a list for tomorrow... He's staying for dinner, of course, so I asked him what beer he wanted as an "apéritive"... "Oh I dunno: do you have Stella?"... I swear we laughed for five minutes straight...

So yeah: it's either Malheur "Extra Brut", Bush "Prestige", Gouden Carolus blue ribboned "Cuvée van de keizer" or maybe just a simple Straffe Hendrik quadrupel ale...

          Belgians…

I have two unopened Sam Adams: Utopias bottles sitting. It ages over the years. First bottle I think is from 2006 or 2007. Second bottle is 2010 or 2011. I forget. They're suppose to be kept at room temperature…. Just like how the original brew masters kept it before the age of refrigeration

I have a bunch of dogfish head specialty pint bottles... Will upload when I have a chance

I've heard about Utopias but never actually seen it. Where did you buy it and how much if you don't mind me asking?

Love Dogfish Head.  Here is the one I tried last week.  It was a little sweet for me but the ancho chile had a nice kick.

                      Try dogfish head teavana

The Utopias, depends on the year. The older…. More expensive. Only specialty shops carry them. Lucky enough to know the owner of my local place. He gives he heads up when shipments come.

I thought it was Oregon, but it turns out to be in the San Diego area. It's made by Stone Brewing.

Glad micro-breweries are making a huge boom now. Big companies are trying to branch out from their typical formulas to create new things. But hop heads really know what's good

Before my marathon this year I actually went to the Sam Adams brewery in Boston. Kind of a dangerous location hahaha. Met the president of Sammy! And was able to sample some of their new products in their barrel room too. Walked away with a shirt hat and new glassware. If anyone is ever in the Boston area, you must visit. IT'S FREE, and you get to drink for free.

Shiner is pretty great but there are plenty of other incredible Texas beers that are worth checking out as well!

True, the craft brew scene is really growing right now.  It's hard to keep track of all the new breweries, but it's enjoyable to try.

I generally go for craft beer too, always love trying out something new.

I'm in the Atlanta area and there's a decent craft beer scene going here. My local growler shop has a ton of local varieties and a few knockout world class beers at any given time.

Recently sampled a local beer - Red Brick Brewing Co. The Lost Years, a beer that's aged for 3 months in Jim Beam barrels. Only had a taste but it was a very interesting beer.
