Yeah, I am curious to hear your thoughts on it too, RP.  Your BR and and the IHW-05 are easily the two best Pea Coats I have ever seen.  They both look exceptional, and I am eager to hear first hand impressions.  Everyone raves about the IH model.

hassinator, the RM one is slightly longer and has a more tailored/fitted cut

nice one babyknight.  i know the buzz version as being very luxurious in terms of sheer depth of melton but from photos i'd presumed the mccoy longer and indeed more fitted.

Thanks for the kind comments.  This peacoat is a reproduction of the pre-WWII U.S. Navy jacket whereas I don't think that the IH peacoat is intended to replicate any specific model.  This one is made of 36 oz Melton wool, very tightly woven.  I saw the pictures of the IH peacoat on the Forum and wanted to get it, but it sold out too fast so I did some searching and this was the one I liked the best.  It is really nice when you see it up close.

I take an L or XL in my IH shirts and I got this jacket in tag size 40.  The shoulders are probably as narrow as I could go (I tried it on with the IHSH-64 and it was fine) and the chest measurement is perfect.  Here are a couple more shots:

The Pea Coat looks fucking great on you RP.  I too missed out on IH's version of the Pea.  I over thought and waited too long…...

Oh and more fit pics please.

RP, that peacoat looks a lot better fit in these pics than the previous ones. A real lifetime coat.

                      Here's mine.

A little late but thank you again for the added pics RP.  A Pea Coat is my main article of clothing I must obtain for next winter.
