I can recommend it to anyone, it helped me dealing with some health issues. It's very healthy. it's not always easy to keep it up and can get pretty expensive (grass fed meat and so) though

Wife and I just switched to a primal diet - many of the same principles as paleo but dairy is okay… IMO butter, cheese, etc is perfectly healthy in moderation. I wanna get healthier, not go apeshit insane, nahmean? Easier than paleo too as it's not restrictive. Still grain free, which is the main thing that makes the single biggest impact (IMO, of course... YMMV)

Fiance has celiac and I was looking to lose some weight so I read up on it and gave it a try.  A lot of the point for people without an intolerance is that it cuts out a lot of carbs (not that I'm avoiding other carbs or doing atkins or anything) and steadies your blood sugar, so you're less hungry and feel better.

Also, I think a lot of people have some sort of intolerance, but its a spectrum.

Put another way - nobody ever got sick from a wheat deficiency - doesn't hurt to try.  So I tried it and its working, might not be everybody's cup of tea but worth a shot if what you're trying isn't working like it wasn't for me.

tigerpac nailed it - I watched what I ate but kept wondering why my weight was consistently increasing… despite eating a diet full of "healthy whole grains."

I have p90x.  It does everything I need it to do, but I'm a push up, pull up, sit up kinda guy.  It provides useful variations for me, and I like their "Ab-ripper X" to burn away all that beer.  If you have IPtorrents, I say its worth the 7GB freeleech download.

I don't care for all the talk during the video, so I just mute it.

From the reviews I've seen it seems p90x is longer workouts and requires extra equipment and Insanity is more cardio based and doesn't require anything

Just wanted some first hand experience

                                          OK, first hand experience:

p90x does require equipment: pull up bar, dumbells, resistance bands, chairs for push up variations and various dumbell exercises, push up grips/stands, stools for leg kicks during plyometrics, yoga mats/shock-absorbing mats, heart rate monitor if you want one.

Each of the 12 videos are about an hour long (except the cardio and abs videos).  you will need water and a towel too.
