This is my next one when it comes out

Not sure what I'm going to do with it, but I want it

Anyone know of a nice boot knife? I've always had my eye out for one to stick in my Wescos.

                d666: I know, but I need a clip on the knife itself…

Found myself looking at the Reeve Mnandi again...

I actually used to really dislike the way Spydercos looked (actually, still kind of do), until I got a Persistence and an Ambitious a couple months ago for our two cars (to put into the emergency kits). At 30 bucks a piece, hard to go wrong, right?

Was really impressed with the build quality and THAT EDGE. With a stropped edge, competes with some of my full custom knives

My son bought me one of these for Christmas

It's really unusual I get knocked on my ass with the quality of a knife, but this one has done it at 1/4 the price of a Sebenza

A US made Spyderco like this one Doug has just posted will be my next step up from my Chinese made C148CPGP, which I use every day of the week and it still sharpens up like new.  Locks well, love it.  My only gripe is that it folds up a bit wide.

A Delica would be a step up…the Native 5 is many steps up 🙂

It's a great knife for $50. If you're in the States, Howe's knife shop has them in black at a very good price with free shipping

It's great for pocket carry, very light, and the ergos (while the knife isn't pretty) is spot on

The edge was uneven though, I had to reprofile (the back was at a shallower angle than the tip). Bugged me

Nice, I still have two Striders, an Airwing and a ZM. They don't get much use but they're cool

Beauts… So jealous of that Mnandi... How easy is it to open the Mnandi compared to the Sebenza?..

Sebenza is obviously easier to open but, the Mnandi opens very easily. My biggest issue is I have very large hands but, I can easily open it with one hand. It is significantly smaller than the small sebi. However it is no slouch very very sturdy!!!
