A guy who I had never spoken to before at work today said to me " I don't know if they're the coolest boots I've ever seen, or the stupidest". Thats kind of the response they get regularly

I can vaguely remember the state of mind in which I would have thought White's are totally outlandish footwear. That was before I saw the light, which e.g. the security people at the airport are apparently still ignorant of.

Just had to correct this.

If those are just standard White's Navy Chromexcel 5" Semi-Dress Boots then they cost $389.95 in the US if you get them from Baker's. Which I'm assuming is less than half of what custom IH/Viberg boots will probably run.
