City of London is really a lovely place now, changed a lot since I worked there on Moorgate at least xx years ago. Remember the pubs were good but closed early, has it changed?
Good to have so many Brits on the forum.

I used to wear my shades coming indoors as well, just because I was lazy, but was told by an opthamologist friend of mine that it's not healthy to do that. Keeping your irises open that much during the day is supposedly bad for your eyes, and my eyes are pretty goofed up as they are
Just repeating what I heard, don't know if there's any truth to it, but my buddy is a pretty good doctor

Ok so long story short: I got these Triple Works from shoque. I got them for my bro, and just got them back from my collegue who hemmed them (no chainstitching, but the selvedge at least stays intact). They're too tight fo my bro, so I decided to put them on, and will be wearing them til Friday evening. Hopefully stretching them enough for my bro so he can start enjoying them. And hopefully not damaging them at work, but I'll be careful.
The feel on these is really, really nice. Soft. Light (coming from 19 oz Bks). Wearing them double cuffed. Pic of the hem is to show the black thread my collegue decided to use (I actually quite like it).

Don't like the backstitching on the pockets. They're also a bit too deep for me. Loving the embroidered logo though. In my opinion this is such a much nicer touch than a tab.

Seul, what can I say ? Nothing compared to brotherly love. I love my sister dearly. I would even splurge for a pair of Iron Heart jeans for her (she's a Waist 30) – but I know she'd fucking hate them. She's into that girly shit -- which Japanese denim makers are not great at. She'd probably go for a pair of FH Balders or Samurai Gieshas -- but my sister would wash them every time she wore them -- which would fucking drive me bonkers. A nice pair of Japanese raw denim would be wasted on my sister...but I do buy her plenty of presents. I just bought her a pair of SoftWalk sandals from zappos last week.

I hand down all my gear to him, unless it's stuff he doesn't like. I've been giving him Samurai jeans and nice flannel shirts. Even German army sneakers. And belts!..
He's slowly, very slowly starting to get it… I told him to give the Triple Works to me if he wanted to wash them, though. He'll probably just toss 'm in the washing machine anyway but yeah... Whatcha gonna do, right?..
My dad wears my old Levis LVC '47 and Earnest Sewn Fulton raw selvedge and the same belts as me (in his size). He also wears Nudies but I don't take responsibility for that
Guess I took on the job of dressing the whole family properly :-\

I soaked my IH Ladies Medium denim jacket last night. It's laying on my leather chair at the moment, drying – so I couldn't wear it today. Presently, this piece is my favorite jacket of all time. All my other jackets now suddenly suck. The FH 3001s are "one-wash", BTW.

Aero 634-s combo looks sharp.. Did P take that car for a spin ?
I was in a meeting at Mercedes Benz World whilst G was having all that fun! He spent 30 mins driving car with lady racing driver at his side egging him on! I got to go out later for 10 mins as a passenger - that was enough - terrifying (in very wet conditions) and brilliant fun!
