I think the shirt is really nice but the writing on the back is the fail.

Shub, so did you get your custom sized Schott? Pics?

Oh, so that's what DougNg's cryptic code meant ? Yeah, the writing on the back is pretty ugly.
Till, remember YOU talked me out of the custom-sized steerhide and persuaded me to go with the standard Ladies' lambskin ? Well, that's what I did (Ladies' Small). Pics tomorrow…promised !

Yes! I remember. I just didn't really remember which model. Too much stuff going on. Really looking forward to the pics. You have to shoot a close-up so we can see the leather quality, if possible.

Wonder if people read anymore or just look at pictures? The question is, was Doug referring to the shirt being a FAIL or to me posting something?

I can't speak for Doug but I'm fairly certain he was referring to the shirt. I think the pictures from the Schott booth were actually interesting. Thanks for those!

DougNg, you look fabulous and that is one fucking helluva leather jacket. Johnson, right ?

Sorry, it was the shirt I was referring to. I tried to include it in a quote, but for some reason, the pic wouldn't show

Like Lando said, it's a cool looking shirt, until they decided to make a billboard out of it…"That's great Schott NYC" isn't even a sentence...

Yeup, the jacket is a Johnson made for TADGear. I think it was a limited run of 100

Very cute for Shuba and very manly for Doug. I like it! Both nice jackets with great fit and great style for the respective wearers.

Love the grey color on Doug's jacket.

You know, I think this is actually very similar to the leather Bundeswehr bomber jackets I saw around when I grew up in Germany, say early 80s. The leather was impressive and the color was between olive and grey, never brown though.

Shuba, I really like the nice color contrast of the Perfecto with a unicolor T. I think somewhere else you wear it with a red or blue t-shirt. The only thing I would change for the look is to tug the T in. One of the nice effects of the Perfecto is that it accentuates the waist and makes a V-shape upper body. When the t-shirt peaks out on the bottom it distracts from that effect. And also the color pop in the collar doesn't get its full effect; let's call it collar pop. Try it out and see if you like it. IIRC, you said you don't like to tug the shirt in but in this case it may pay major dividends to do so. 😉

It's a repro of a German bomber jacket. Good eye

By all means, try it out. You don't like it, don't do it. It's always been something I noticed that women don't like to tuck their shirt in. If it's really warm that's ok for me, too. But otherwise I always feel the draft coming up my shirt and one would see my lower back in the plumber position. So I prefer a tucked in shirt.
