Going for my first lazer session tomorrow  ( I've had these traditional Americana type tattoos for years and I really hate them, no thought was put into them at all ) , gonna be a long process but I'm sure it will be worth it in the end
Once the tattoos are lightened enough I think I'm gonna go with a Japanese half sleeve ( for now , it's gonna take some convincing for Sarah come round to the idea of a full sleeve )
Anyone had experience with coloured tattoos being removed ?

Not personally but I hear it is more painful than Black. Sorry.

Im sure it will be just as painfull as black ( cant realy see a difference)
I was more thinking about how easily it can be lightened
a mate of mine got a name removed ( black ) and it did not take that long iirc it was like 4 sittings
So im hopefull that colour will be similar ?

Phone pic, I'm afraid. The black 'rays' in the middle are an old piece he worked around so they don't look as nice as the rest.

Pretty well for my first sitting , I've booked to go back every 6weeks
Was speaking to an artist who I want to do the Japanese work and he said if it continues to work at this rate  I'll be ready to be tattooed in about 6 months , so I was pretty happy
That pic was when I got home and now it has brused quite a bit but it dose not hurt at all even though it looks awful

Hey flash, how many sittings do you do on that? Ive been wanting to get something on my forearm blasted off. Jut not sure how it will turn out.

Well to get completely removed the guy said about 12 to 13 sittings ( about 15 months ) but I'm just looking them lightened so I can get them covered and that's about 6 sittings

The tattoo artist said all he needs is the black gone and he will be ok with working the rest ,
The black is the fastest to fade so progress should be quite puick
