Phew ! I got lucky cuz I just placed an order for a 13/4", W34. But I emailed the guy (owner I presume – Bob Kitchener) and he replied almost immediately, with the same answer as you Seul. The reason I said "Phew" is because I went with a 1 3/4" belt. My bro-in-law is a skinny, lanky dude (like LandoCal)...he wears his  501s a bit loose, which he likes. No, I'm never gonna convert him to Iron Heart. He makes a good living but has two kids. His wife, my sister -- also works and makes a decent living. Unless you're made of wealth, people with young kids ain't gonna do a lot of Iron Heart -- it's much too expensive. Plus, he's just not into fashion...he doesn't give a shit about it, though he still looks good in whatever he wears. But I'll tell ya what...my bro-in-law rocks Levis 501s better than anyone...they look great on him ! This belt is a gift from me to him -- and it will look GREAT with his 501s ! Thanks Seul !

Seul, I ended up changing the order and buying him two belts – brown and black -- in a 1.5", W34. I spoke with the owner this morning, Bob Kitchener -- what a cool dude ! The bro-in-law told me that he prefers a 1.5" to a 1.75". But I've advertised http://stores.ebay.com/Dangerous-Threads to folks at work…and several folks (including my VP !) have put in orders. Hey, Giles...don't worry. ALL of my colleagues at work know about Iron Heart -- so I'm doing great PR work for IH too (I'm pretty much a walking billboard for Iron Heart). It's just that the community of people who'd appreciate Iron Heart is much smaller -- especially in a high tech company full of engineers (nerds).

I don't mind spending 300 $ on jeans, but all those bigger denim brands' accesoires are ridiculously high priced… 300 $ belts?.. C'mon now... I either buy from Bob, or have Nicholas from Hollows Leather make me a customised item. Right now I asked him to make me a tan 2", dual prong belt to go with my new boots. Much cheaper and very high quality.

Seul, I haven't seen the Dangerous-Threads belt "live" yet…but they look beautiful and heavy-duty in the photo.  [Arriving this next week !]. But yes…Iron Heart belts are ridiculously expensive. It'll be interesting to compare and contrast. I doubt that the details and the metal (i.e. the IH belts I own use brass) on the Dangerous-Threads compare to IH insane quality levels, but then again...I see your point. Who cares ? It's just a fuckin' belt...and the Dangerous-Threads ones pass the IH outfit test -- they're certainly gonna blend in, age beautifully, look and feel great ! At a certain point..leather is...just leather. All leather belts get a "patina" with frequent wear. And Mr. Dangerous-Threads offers a lifetime guarantee for quality and construction -- that's an extremely confident statement about your product !

All I want a belt to be is heavy, 2" wide, handmade, and DISCRETE.

And trust me Shubz: you'll LOVE the belts. Too bad you didn't get a 2" one, those are reàlly heavy as fuck… I have a 1.75" one for my shorts, and they got soft a lot faster. Excellent belt, though...

27 $ for a 2" belt means you save 273 - hell you can get a pair of Samurais with that!..  😉

simon626, thank you thank you ! I own a pair of IH301S in a W28 myself. I posted pics of myself wearing them a couple of months ago. They are GREAT jeans. Right now I'm jonesing on my SEXIH03BK (Black Cyclist jeans) – trying to break them in. Too bad, Self Edge San Francisco is totally sold out and they'll never make another run. If you like the 301S, you'd probably have dug the SEXIH too -- which SESF quickly sold out of. I reget not buying those.

Here's me walking Lacy this morning. That baby German Shepherd is not mine. His name is "Max", 5 months old -- we just bumped into him during our morning walk. My face doesn't show in this photo but you get a close up of the Black Cyclists. I'm sure you've seen plenty of my face by now -- I think I'm fucking adorable and don't mind a bit if people see my face and whole body . What The Fuck ? If you look good, flaunt it bitch ! I work hard for this shit !

Well, ALD has gone bankrupt anyhow, have they not?.. Too bad…

I buy all my belts from this dude:

                  Hey Seul,

I'm looking at the 2" double hole belt. I assume these fit no prob in IH loops? Do you have experience of them fitting ok with Flat Head loops?

                  Thanks & rgds
                  H

Excellent quality for that price… My black belt JUST is starting to get soft, after about 18 months of wear... I only wear 2" belts as well. Have a 1 3/4 for my shorts, though.

Aye lad, they fit in FH loops. I'm assuming they'll fit in IH loops as well. Can someone confirm or deny, perhaps?.. A 2" belt goes into my IHxSE07BK's but those are a collab jeans so…

All I can tell ya kiddo (simon626), although Seul is a kiddo himself (age-wise) – when you graduate from college, get a job which pays you well -- cuz it seems you like fine shit (like Iron Heart) and you've discovered ridiculously high-end tastes at a youngster age. I was a very simple girl at your age...Levis 501, tennis shoes and t-shirts. I might have spent $200 on my wardrobe a year -- that's it -- of course that was the mid-80s and $200 back then was probably equivalent to $500 today. So if you like this shit : stay single (unmarried), don't have kids, and make a decent living. Or, get married, have kids, and make a fucking kick-ass living.  I fall into the first category (decent living). If I had someone depending on me, forget it -- Iron Heart would not be justified. Also, your Mom must be cool because mine would have beaten the shit out of me if I spent nearly $400 on a pair of jeans while in college (given that she mostly paid for my undergraduate education).

Seul, just for you – I'll buy 2" ones. But I have wayyy too many belts already (Sugar Cane and Iron Heart). That was when I was fat, dumb and stupid -- didn't know about Dangerous-Threads (last year). Simon626 -- c'mon ! ARE YOU NUTS ? Do I look or act like a tobacco chewer ? Noooooo dude. That shit is ugly....ewwww ! That's lip balm, which I always carry around, Rosebud Salve :

                                  http://www.sephora.com/browse/brand_hierarchy.jhtml?brandId=5671&cm_mmc=us_search--GG--br%20rose-_-S1264955839_ADOGOE_AGI1092086_CRE2207346317_TID104609395_RFDd3d3Lmdvb2dsZS5jb20%3d_RAWcm9zZWJ1ZCUyMHNhbHZl

One can argue, however, that I'm addicted to lip gloss. OK, it's an addiction and I need rehab. People are probably suspicious that I carry a tin lined with cocaine or something, as frequently as I slap the shit on. Yo', I like my lips to look soft n' juicy – all the time ! That way, when Beyonce comes my way, I'd be all puckered up and ready to go !

I'm the "cool aunt" who delivers the same messages as my sister the Mom, but with a much cooler vibe. So rather than, "Don't drink or smoke", I say "Don't you dare fucking drink or smoke, or I'll kick your little asses all the way over to Siberia !" Or, rather than "Don't get a girl pregnant", I say "If you get a girl pregnant, I don't want your fucking baby and I won't help take care of it".

I have the same issue, only with mints… My oldest jeans even show wear on my pocket where I stash my candies during work... I brush my teeth 3x a day, and always ALWAYS have a minty breath at work... People with bad hygiene and bad breath can fuck right off  😎 Not eating meat (vegetarian for 10 years now) helps a lot though...  😘
