I've just read a book where the main character wears a corduroy peacoat. Now I want an IH Double Weave Corduroy Peacoat…

I can tell you, but you might go off the jacket idea… All joking apart, it was a space opera series I read research wise for work. Quarter Share is the first one and the jacket appears in book two. The books are interestingly different to most space opera. Email me if you want more info.

Ok, so we all know that The Works makes some really great jackets for cold weather, but aside from the windbreaker, there isn’t much in the way of lighter weight, warmer weather jackets.  I know there’s a Harrington jacket in production, but that’s not really my style, sadly.  So, here’s my suggestion- something with a field jacket sort of vibe, but slimmed down and slightly shorter.  Waxed cotton, maybe a needle cord lined collar & cuffs and a light weight lining, maybe like one of the summer weight flannels.  That way it could be worn in the fall and spring for folks that have those seasons, or for me, in the Texas winters when the temperatures drop below 55°F (13°C).
                I’m thinking something like this:

This would probably be more appropriate for the Triple Works label, but regardless of where it fits in best, this is a jacket I’d like to see made.

I would love the cap done in duck…brown or black would rock my world.

I cringe thinking of the price because I would have to buy it.

Yeah, or as G. would phrase it they will be "reassuringly expensive" 😉

How about something totally off the wall?  I have to go to a black tie wedding next month, so I've been thinking about cufflinks.  A pair made from IH buttons would be cool.

Good old fashioned mechanics jacket.  Complete with the the arm pocket, warm lining (I've had ones with quilted lining and some with fuzzier stuff.  Or get wacky and blanket line it with the quilted arms?…just brainstorming here...), and option for a nice embroidered patch that just said Iron Heart..
                              Maybe a zip chest pocket?

                              Maybe not?

I wore these my whole life before IH, and I know y'all could come up with the most heavy duty badass one ever…
