Just got my Navy Oxfords :).

          My sizing advice:
George, owner of OSB, recommends measuring your foot on an official brannock device and getting that size.  I did that and they fit with socks on.  If you want to wear with no socks, then size down 1/2.
Brannock - between 8D and 8E (this may be important as I have slightly wide feet)
          Converse Chucks - 8
          Red Wings - 8
          Clarks Desert Boots - 8
          Sperry Boat Shoe - 8
Nike Air Force Ones - 9

Wearing them to work for the first time today.  Feels a bit cramped in the toe area; definitely need to stretch a bit to be more comfortable.  I'm very glad I did not size down on these (from my Brannock measured size).

We do resole!  When it's time to resole them, send them back to us and we'll take care of you.  The fact that your shoes can be 'factory' resoled is definitely one of the perks of buying Oak Streets.  In the years to come, whenever your shoes need this service we will gladly care for them, and send them back to you good as new.

George, what is the cost or resoling/ re working a Trail Oxford with a Vibram Christie Sole or is this a gratis service? Thanks

There is a cost - just like Alden, Allen Edmonds, etc.  Shoot me an email and we'll take it from there!

                        Thanks man,

George any news on the winter collection?  Last we spoke, it was delayed due to supplies be in low quantity.

Not sure why this couldn't be answered publicly, but here is the answer I received from Tony Pace at OSB for those of you who are interested…

"Thanks for the email - we offer a complete refurbishment program for $92. The program consists of new soles, new insoles, new laces, re-lasting the shoe, etc. - basically everything necessary to get the shoes looking as good as new."

Hope you guys like the new shoes.  This is the most exciting drop we've had.  we slid this waxed hunt boot in since we only have a few pairs  http://oakstreetbootmakers.com/footwear/waxed-loden-hunt-boot

                                    kit99bar - it's a single sole - so it's actually pretty sleek…that's my favorite of the batch  🙂

At the end of the handsewing process, the last is removed.  However, since the shoe is literally crafted around the last, this newly formed shoe is incredibly tight on the last.  So tight in fact that you can't just grab hold of the last and pull it out.  While the last is still secured onto the handsewing bench you are able to remove the shoe.

With that said, when we get shoes back for recrafting, the first thing we do is start the process of removing the soles.  Then, by locking a last into place on the bench, we are able to put the shoe back into its original last.  By simply allowing the shoe to sit for 24-48 hours, the shoe regains its original shape.  With chromexcel, you can even lightly dampen the leather if needed to allow for better reshaping.

Finally, in brief, the shoes are re-bottomed, insoles replaced, and then any refinishing to the uppers.
