If I hadn't just bought the 666 XHS and there wasn't a 634 RAW coming in NOV-ish, I would have bought them in a heartbeat.  I feel like these will be too close to the 634 measurements, and weight isn't an issue since I easily wear my SRs in 100 degree weather.

I tried a pair of these on in SENY yesterday.  The denim is AMAZING.

I think it's a nice cut but not the ideal one for me personally, as I tend to prefer something that is as slim as possible around the thigh.  That's just what I think works best for my body type.  That said, I do find it somewhat difficult to accurately judge the true nature of a cut of unsanforized denim pre-soak.

The feel of the denim and reputation of its fading qualities made this tempting for me, but when it comes to retiring my Strike Golds (not quite yet Chris but I am planning ahead!) I think I am more likely to go for a pair of 666s (not sure yet between the 18oz and 25oz) or perhaps the raw Busters.

just that the leg numbers are quite slimmer than SE measurements while the waist larger… a fit I could get after

an 11" thigh is quite slim for a waist 31

If they are measured iron heart method, then 11 is really tiny but the fit pics match pretty well

As I understand these are quite like the SEXIH07, denim is similar correct?  My pair of SEXIH07 started a bit like Simon's but kept shrinking for about a year (3 washes or so).  The waist ended up somewhere around 30.5" (tagged 32) and the thighs ended up quite tight.  The front rise also ended up much lower than I expected.

Back pockets are unlined.

I agree, that would have been a cool detail, though in general, I don't like lined back pockets, as they tend to get hot and make my butt sweat.

yeah, i did order a pair, but i order not directly to selfedge, i ordered to a person who in-charge about this project, so he the one who will order in bulk to selfedge, because this chain of distribution, i must wait little longer i think,,

TRUE to size, nevermind the shrinkage, no problem on that.

crunchy, stiff.. i smelled the good fading prosperities.
