what are you having done?  Thomas Hooper is fucking incredible!  How long have you had to wait for an appointment?

we're finishing my arm.    we've been friends for a long time so he sorta just calls me when he has an opening or a cancellation.  its kind of hard for me to schedule super far in advance with him due to my being on the road all the time, so we just do a little here and there when we're both free.  thomas is amazing, one of my absolute favorite artists (even outside the realm of tattooing), and he's just a great guy.  he has also been hinting around at how much he wants a pair of IH jeans…..so maybe i'll try to get him over to self edge this week.

i actually havent been tattooed by him since he left NYA  so i'm pretty stoked to see Saved.  i'll get some flicks up for sure.

Amazing. I've always been intrigued with how the artist and the person being tattoo'd come together to create a coherent theme for a sleeve. I've been interested in getting a half-sleeve since I can remember but it's really a big decision to make, one that's dependent not only on the artist's ability but in being able to bring a variety of elements together to create something truly beautiful; something that will age effortlessly.
