Can't wait see how these are when they're broken in. I have had some unsanforized pairs from other brands, and they softened up fairly quickly. These don't really feel like they'll take as quick haha.

Here’s a better look at the right leg. It’s weird how the right leg is the only part that has this type of marbling lol.

I’m not that pissed off anymore. The way I see it, it kinda adds to the story and history of the jeans in a way. I dunno, it sounds good lol

So do you think the washer was the cause of the marbling or the “patchy” fading?
Decided to wash my pair for the 1st time using a machine. They’ve been hand washed once. And amount of wear is maybe 6 months total. Off and on for about a year. It’s an American top loader so I guess it’s kinda harsh. I’ve noticed after drying, they seem to have “patchy” fading. Also, some noticeable lines. Any ideas what happened here? I hope the pictures can show what I’m talking about. I’m wondering if the washer caused this 
I washed them in cold, inside out, and no spin. I feel the washer created this 
Is this just the way my pair decided to fade or what? @Giles , do you have an expert opinion?

Sales in Japan are slowing down and we need to find ways of keeping the workshops that make our clothing busy or else they may just decide it's all too much hassle and close down.
I might be overreacting, but this line has me concerned. Does this mean IH is/was struggling and could go under, or would this just be a change in workshops if it came down to it?
