Will we see a restock this year with the new leather source?

Hi, this might be too long ago, but @Giles do you know if this jacket was tea-core tanned? (i.e. does the black color (shed) its outer layer to reveal the brown patina underneath?
I tried to look at the archived listing but idk if we use "tea core" as a marketing term 10 years ago.
