Some progress on my sashiko ori shirt

Just had these come in last night. The custom boss from the Iron Heart Germany website. I think these might be the best fitting pair to date. The E width is great. I have a pair of Lous in 10.5E also but all my others are 10.5 D

I’m having trouble passing on engineers that I keep seeing pop up right now. These ship John’s came out so damn good afternoon seeing the images I couldn’t pass them up. I just love anything lug sole

Got mine in today and the fabric is so awesome. Love the fit also. Was definitely not on my radar, but decided to take a chance and it’s well worth it

Really digging this new shirt. Gave it a warm wash and hang dry to shrink it a little and I’m very happy with the fit

Absolutely incredible jacket. So happy with how it fits. I knew it would be incredible quality, but the color in person is just insane. Can’t wait for the weather to cool down

After a lot of searching and contemplating if the measurements would work, I ordered the 4xl and I have to say I think it fits really well. This jacket is insane

Woke up early and just went for it. Warm soak, warm wash and then machine dry and the fit change makes a HUGE difference

@kaacy1721 yeah I definitely get that. They have the other card holder but I liked the “satchel” aspect of this. Leave my primary card in the front slot with some cash and the rest that I don’t really ever touch in the back. The leather itself is great though. The snap I’m indifferent about, I think it’s subtle and adds a nice little detail, but I’d also be fine if it didn’t snap shut. So far really enjoying the wallet setup. I’m just debating whether or not I want to special order the extension for the chain right now. I feel like I will and then can switch in and out as I please. They said it’s about a 4 week lead time

Digging this shorty chain setup that just came in. Unfortunately they short shipped me on the spring rings I ordered, so waiting on that, but using my desert B spring rings until it comes later this week. I ordered the new spring ring smooth/goosebump in A. I’ll use one ring on my BLB and the other to connect to the wallet

Reached out to GA about possibly getting a 3 link extension to make it a tiny bit longer, but going to sit with this for a little to see how it goes

From what I’ve taken from what he’s said, it also boils down to the capacity for him and his team to secure the specific material he wants, the amount of hands they have to put the product together, and then ultimately the capital to buy the material.

It definitely comes across as a passion project turned business, but that’s what makes it so authentic. He makes what he wants to wear and it just so happened that a lot of people also seem to want to wear the stuff that he likes to wear.

I can appreciate the fact that while there is enormous demand for his products, he’s cognizant of the fact that he doesn’t necessarily want thousands of his shirt out there because he wants his product to also be unique. Call it artificial scarcity or whatever you want, but that’s what he’s said about his products being out there and I can respect that.

@Anesthetist yeah when I saw ISP still had at the old price, for how long I had been wanting it, I had to buy it, and I dont regret it.... however it was just a gateway because now I am waiting on the shorty chain and another spring ring to be delivered so I can complete the setup

New pendant I finally got after a long time of hem and hawing over it. Also pequeno Mano goosebump chain with my son’s initials. Soon I’ll be adding another ball chain or possibly the small curb chain with the initials of my daughter when she’s born next month

@truby do you have one, and if so any pics of how you have it setup? I feel like my wife will not be pleased, but shes due to give birth next month and I am looking for one last "treat myself"

Fortunately was able to grab this at the old price from ironshop provisions, looks like the new price went up $300…

Now I’m trying to decide if the shorty chain and spring ring are the move…
